Basketball Recap: Gulfport Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Gulfport won against Ocean Springs last Friday with 60 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. Everything went the Gulfport Admirals' way against the St. Martin Yellow Jackets as the Gulfport Admirals made off with a 60-35 victory. The Admirals have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, St. Martin had strong showings from Jaxon Walker, who posted 11 points, and Terence Allen, who had five points and three steals. That's the most steals Allen has posted since back in November of 2024.

The win (which was Gulfport's third in a row) raised their record to 24-2. As for St. Martin, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 17-11.

Gulfport will welcome Biloxi at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Gulfport has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 179 points over their last three contests. As for St. Martin, they will face off against Ocean Springs at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
