Wendover has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 20 points or more this season.
Wendover got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Raul Valle out in front who scored 15 points along with six assists and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tre Tangaro, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Wendover's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.3 points per game. As for Manila, their loss dropped their record down to 10-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wendover won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Rich at 5:30 p.m. on January 20th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Rich is ranked 76th, while Wendover is ranked 55th). As for Manila, they will head out on the road to take on Altamont at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
