Southeastern Ohio recap Sept. 26, 2012
Gallia Academy was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fourth to first in Southeastern Ohio. The Blue Devils beat Vinton County 40-12 earlier in the week.
Gallia Academy moved up to 171 from 245 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. A 40-12 win over the Vikings helped Mike Eddy's team improve its standing.
Warren's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Warriors feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Dylan Leffingwell has thrown for 553 yards and five touchdowns this season, while Andrew Vincent has 21 catches for 239 yards. Jake Scott leads the league in rushing with 162 yards.
A big matchup in Southeastern Ohio this week will be when Jackson takes on Warren. As it stands, the Ironmen are in third, while the Warriors are in second.
Warren led the league in scoring this week after putting up 57 points on Meigs.
