The Skyline Falcons lost against the Thompson Valley Eagles back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Skyline took a hard 44-28 fall against Thompson Valley. Skyline has struggled against Thompson Valley recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Lauren Pratt and Keira Reuter certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Pratt scored six points along with 14 rebounds and two blocks, while Reuter scored four points. It was the first time this season that Pratt pulled down eight or more rebounds.
Skyline struggled to work together and finished the game with only an assist. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Skyline has not been sharp recently as the team's lost 12 of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season. As for Thompson Valley, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.
Skyline will head out on the road to face off against Frederick at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Skyline focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Tuesday. As for Thompson Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Severance at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Colorado (Severance is ranked 111th, while Thompson Valley is ranked 120th).
