The Trinity Christian Academy Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Lake Highland Prep Highlanders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Trinity Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three games.
Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles last Thursday. Trinity Christian Academy was the clear victor by a 10-0 margin over Warner Christian Academy.

The team relied heavily on Quinten Berry, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Nasir Rameriez also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Trinity Christian Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.4 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matchups they've averaged 10.4.
Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Lake Highland Prep's offense. They fell just short of Cocoa Beach by a score of 1-0 on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Highlanders' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
Oliver Dugan spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on one hit and racked up eight Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Alec Ochipinti was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.
Lake Highland Prep has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-6 record this season. As for Trinity Christian Academy, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Trinity Christian Academy has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.3 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Lake Highland Prep struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.9 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Trinity Christian Academy beat Lake Highland Prep 12-7 in their previous meeting back in March of 2023. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Highlanders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
