There's no place like home for the Parkway Center City Bulldogs, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Sunday. They took down South Philadelphia 56-41 on Thursday. This was payback for Parkway Center City, who suffered a 70-53 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Parkway Center City's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Israel Mckinley, who scored 19 points along with 5 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Mckinley has scored at least 25% of Parkway Center City's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden McKnight, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Parkway Center City now has a winning record of 2-1. As for South Philadelphia, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Parkway Center City will head out on the road to face off against Franklin Learning Center at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. As for South Philadelphia, they will be playing at home against Martin Luther King at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Martin Luther King focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 25 on Thursday.
