On Tuesday, Miami East earned a 56-47 victory over Lehman Catholic. The victory was just what Miami East needed coming off of a 65-44 loss in their prior match.
Milton-Union suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 69-37 loss at the hands of Troy Christian. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Milton-Union in their matchups with Troy Christian: they've now lost four in a row.
The losing side was boosted by Zach Lovin, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Kimmel, who scored five points along with six rebounds.
Milton-Union struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. They are winless (0-3) when they can't control their own glass like that.
Miami East's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-6. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.7 points per game. As for Milton-Union, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.
