The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Kings Christian has scored all season.
When it comes to explaining why Kings Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Ronnie Roche. Despite the final result, he scored 23 points along with three steals. That was a full 65.7% of Kings Christian's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Elyas Miro was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Kings Christian's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-2. As for Caruthers, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kings Christian will take on Wonderful College Prep Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Caruthers, they will be playing at home against Parlier at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Parlier has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 19.
