The Hudson Falls Tigers will head out to face off against the Queensbury Spartans at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Hudson Falls had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 12-run drubbing they dealt Amsterdam on Monday. The Tigers blew past the Rams 13-1. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

On the hitting side, Hudson Falls got a massive performance out of Mya Strong, who went 2-for-4 with two triples, two runs, and one RBI. Those two triples gave Strong a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jerusha Fairbanks, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Hudson Falls was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .423. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive games.
Queensbury came out on top against Amsterdam on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run second inning. The Spartans put the hurt on the Rams with a sharp 14-1 victory. The win continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won six in a row.
Haylee Hayes was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI and one run. Olivia Bishop also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Hudson Falls' record now sits at 11-4. As for Queensbury, their record is now 7-9.
Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Hudson Falls hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .345. However, it's not like Queensbury struggles in that department as they've averaged .328. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Hudson Falls came out on top in a nail-biter against Queensbury in their previous meeting on Wednesday, sneaking past 6-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
