St. Mark had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.6 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They came out on top against the Cedar Hill Longhorns by a score of 64-52. This was a revenge game for the Lions: when they faced off against the Longhorns back in November, they had to take a 71-63 defeat.

St. Mark's is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. As for Cedar Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 14-7.

St. Mark's won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Panther Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Panther Creek knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully St. Mark's likes a good challenge. As for Cedar Hill, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Wilson at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Wilson has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 215 points over their last three games.
