Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Longwood). They blew past the Hubbard Greyhounds 60-22 on Tuesday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Longwood's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Hubbard, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Longwood has already played their next match, a 65-40 defeat against Dunbar on the 12th. As for Hubbard, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 72-47 loss against Kennedy on the 12th.
