The Beach Bulldogs won the last time they faced the Savannah Country Day Hornets, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Beach came out on top against Savannah Country Day by a score of 42-31.
It was another big night for James Tisby, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Castelow, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and two blocks.
Savannah Country Day's loss came despite strong showings from Robert Spaulding iv and Andrew Nicholson. Spaulding iv scored ten points along with five rebounds and three steals, while Nicholson scored six points along with seven rebounds. Spaulding iv hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games.
Beach's victory bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Savannah Country Day, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-10.
Beach will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Savannah Christian at 7:30 p.m. As for Savannah Country Day, they will head out on the road to challenge Liberty County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Liberty County presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Savannah Country Day in Georgia (Liberty County is ranked 136th, while Savannah Country Day is ranked 290th).
