Basketball Recap: North Raleigh Christian Academy Piles Up the Points Against Cresset Christian Academy

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Raleigh Christian Academy). They claimed a resounding 69-31 win over the Cresset Christian Academy Eagles. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

North Raleigh Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brennen Jefferson, who went 8 of 14 en route to 22 points and five rebounds. Jefferson's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Cody Dickerson, who went 7 of 10 on his way to 16 points and three steals.

When it comes to explaining why Cresset Christian Academy lost on Tuesday, don't look at Mario Jarrett. Despite the final result, he posted 16 points. That was a full 51.6% of Cresset Christian Academy's points, marking the third time in a row he's had more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Davis, who put up seven points.

The victory made it two in a row for North Raleigh Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 5-6. As for Cresset Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
