The Two Rivers Warriors will be playing at home against the North Polars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Two Rivers focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Friday.
Last Friday, Two Rivers came up short against the Packers and fell 55-46.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Gabi Kirchner, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Sophia Amundson, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
Meanwhile, North came into Friday's contest having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Simley 47-44. The victory was just what North needed coming off of a 61-12 loss in their prior matchup.
Two Rivers has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-9 record this season. As for North, their victory bumped their record up to 4-14.
Two Rivers came up short against the Polars in their previous meeting back in January, falling 49-45. Will Two Rivers have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other basketball content.
