The Tiverton Tigers suffered their biggest defeat since December 28, 2023 on Wednesday. They suffered a rough 59-36 loss at the hands of Coventry. Tiverton was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Coventry apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
It was another big night for Logan Voelker, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds for Coventry. Voelker is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Broady, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds.
Tiverton's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Coventry, they pushed their record up to 7-5 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tiverton will square off against Shea at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Shea is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games. As for Coventry, they will head out on the road to take on Hope at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hope has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since January 2.
