Sulphur waltzed into their contest on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Everything went their way against the Bell City Bruins as they made off with a 10-3 victory. The Golden Tors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bruins, too.
Pressy White was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. White was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in February.
In other batting news, Charlie Kyle was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four RBI and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Keely LaBove, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4.
Sulphur hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least five batters in five consecutive matchups.
