In what's become a running theme this season, the Christian Community Warriors gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 55-25 victory over Heritage Christian. The win was a breath of fresh air for Christian Community as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Sarah Solak was the offensive standout of the contest as she scored 18 points along with four steals and two blocks. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last four games she's played. Lyla Miller was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 14 rebounds.
Christian Community now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Heritage Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
Christian Community will be playing in front of their home fans against Garrett Morgan at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Heritage Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
