While Blanchester might've come up empty on Tuesday, Cole Mueller wasn't going down without a fight. Nobody could stop Mueller as he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Mueller and Blanchester are taking a road trip to square off against Clermont Northeastern at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sadly, Mueller's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Wildcats' seven-game streak of wins on the road. With the streak broken, Mueller and the Wildcats surely have a bit of extra motivation heading into Wednesday's match.
