Loss or not, Savannah got some senior leadership from Tania Bryant and Ernajah Mallard. Bryant dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds, while Mallard. dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. That was a full 57.6% of Savannah's points, marking the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Meanwhile, New Hampstead came up short against Jenkins County on Tuesday and fell 51-44.
Savannah's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for New Hampstead, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-8.
Savannah didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against New Hampstead in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, but they still walked away with a 36-32 victory.
