Amarillo and El Dorado squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Amarillo had to settle for second. They were just a hair shy of victory and fell 77-76 to the Aztecs. The Sandies were up 21-7 in the first quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.
Despite the loss, Amarillo still got an impressive performance from Jude Dunavin, who rushed for 278 yards and five scores while picking up 13.2 yards per carry, and also picked up 113 receiving yards. Dunavin showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 63 yards. Amarillo also got help from Austin Sluder, who showed off his sure hands for 88 receiving yards.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead El Dorado to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ryan Estrada, who rushed for 262 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 8.2 yards per carry, and also threw for 52 yards and one TD. Rahsan Bryant also helped out as he racked up 156 receiving yards.
