The Western Alamance Warriors can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent game on Friday. They breezed by Person on the road to the tune of 71-25. The win was nothing new for Western Alamance as they're now sitting on five straight.
Leading Western Alamance to victory were Cayden White and Emma Johnson. White scored 11 points along with seven rebounds, while Johnson scored 17 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points White has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Allie Sykes, who scored eight points along with six assists and four steals.
Western Alamance pushed their record up to 10-6 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points per game. As for Person, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-9.
Western Alamance will head out on the road to square off against Southern Alamance at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Southern Alamance will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 306th, while Western Alamance is ranked 81st). As for Person, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Williams at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Williams focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Friday.
