While Apollo didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-21), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They were the clear victor by a 79-57 margin over the Willmar Cardinals on Tuesday. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 22 points or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Apollo and bumps their season record up to 7-5. As for Willmar, they dropped their record down to 3-8 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Apollo will challenge Sauk Rapids-Rice at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Willmar, they will face off against Rocori at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Willmar's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven games.
