Lapeer's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Central Wolves with a sharp 43-20 victory. That looming 43-20 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Lightning yet this season.

Lapeer's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-10 and their overall record up to 4-14. As for Central, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-19.
