When it comes to explaining why Second Baptist lost, one person who can't be blamed is Mike Olaly. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 15 points and 10 rebounds. The contest was Olaly's third in a row with at least ten points. Adam Vessel was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 4 steals.
The Woodlands Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Second Baptist, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.

As for Second Baptist, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Lutheran South Academy at 7:30 p.m. Lutheran South Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 859th, while Second Baptist is ranked 152nd).
