They put the hurt on Fellowship Christian Academy with a sharp 51-30 win. With Jacksonville Christian Academy ahead 34-13 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jacksonville Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Samuel Hodges Jr., who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was DJ Shiver, who scored nine points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Jacksonville Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Fellowship Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jacksonville Christian Academy will challenge the Heat at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Mark Bachmann and Kaleb West. As for Fellowship Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to take on the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Gramercy Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Tuesday.
