Meanwhile, Buckeye Valley entered their tilt with Whitehall-Yearling with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Buckeye Valley really took it to Whitehall-Yearling for the full four quarters, racking up a 66-29 win on the road. Buckeye Valley has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 22 points or more this season.
Buckeye Valley's win on Saturday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ella Hazelrigg, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds. Carlie Osborne was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with six assists and five steals.
Columbus School for Girls has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Buckeye Valley, their victory was their 11th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-2.
