Concord waltzed into their game on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They blew past the Shirley Blue Devils 13-0. The Pirates' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last five matches.
L Cornett was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched.
