The Whittier Christian Heralds will be taking part in a tournament against the Rialto Knights  at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Hopefully Whittier Christian focused on turnovers this week  as the team gave up 31 on Monday.
 Whittier Christian kicked off their season on the road  and hit a couple of potholes. They took a  blow against Bonita, falling  57-17. The Heralds were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  39-8.
 The losing side was boosted by   Analise Quintero, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on ten points and nine  rebounds.
 Meanwhile, Rialto took their  contest  on Monday with ease, bagging  an  80-39 win over Chino Hills. The  matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Knights had established  a  27 point advantage.
 Rialto relied on the efforts of   Jackie Polk, who  went 15 for 22 en route to 38 points plus six  steals, and   Carrington Davis, who  dropped  a triple-double on 20 points, 12  rebounds,  and ten  assists.  Destiny Rabino was another key player,  scoring nine points in addition to two  steals.
