Three Rivers Christian has struggled against Washington School for the Deaf recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Julian Robinson was his usual excellent self, scoring 15 points along with three steals for Washington School for the Deaf. Robinson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 15 games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Evan Stromberg, who scored eight points.
Three Rivers Christian dropped their record down to 1-11 with that loss, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 21.4 points per game. As for Washington School for the Deaf, the win got them back to even at 10-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Three Rivers Christian on the road again on Monday and play against Mossyrock at 7:00 p.m. on January 29th. As for Washington School for the Deaf, they will take on Columbia Adventist Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
