Urbandale won the last time they met up with Des Moines North, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Urbandale were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Des Moines North 49-13. 49 seems to be a good number for Urbandale as the team scooped up a victory with the same point total in their contest two weeks ago against Lincoln.
Urbandale started the game off right with 42 first-half points. Meanwhile, Des Moines North couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 42-0 heading into the break. Although Urbandale wound up losing the second-half battle, they still had enough in reserve to win the war.
Next week Urbandale take on Jefferson at 7:00 PM. Jefferson took a loss in their last match and are no doubt out to reverse Urbandale's good fortune. Des Moines North will look to defend their home turf against Lincoln at 7:00 PM. Lincoln are limping into the matchup on a seven-game losing streak.
