Bishop Hartley extended the longest winning streak in Central Catholic - Gold this week by beating Bishop Ready, 42-8. The win marks 10th in a row for the the Hawks.
Bishop Hartley's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jared Brandewie threw for 56 and two touchdowns and Dominique Scott had 51 yards receiving. On the ground Ja'wuan Woodley chipped in 211 yards. Marcellus Calhoun helped Bishop Hartley's passing attack out by catching one ball for five yards.
Bishop Hartley's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Hawks feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Brandewie has thrown for 808 yards and 11 touchdowns this season, while Scott has 12 catches for 332 yards. Woodley leads the league in rushing with 1516 yards.
Brad Burchfield's team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 42 points on the Silver Knights. Woodley in the win.
