Woodward won the last time they faced Taft and things went their way on Thursday too. The Woodward Bulldogs took their matchup with ease, bagging a 73-27 win over the Taft Senators. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 20 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Woodward to victory, but perhaps none more so than Me'Kayla Tate, who went 8 for 14 en route to 18 points and eight steals. Tate continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Shakira Hill was another key player, going 6 of 14 on her way to 16 points along with five assists and five steals.

Woodward smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 13 consecutive games.

Woodward's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.9 points per game. As for Taft, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-8.

Woodward has already played their next matchup, a 59-49 defeat against Talawanda on the 18th. Taft has also already played their next contest (against Withrow), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
