In what's become a running theme this season, the Modesto Christian Crusaders gave their fans yet another huge win on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Tokay 88-51 at home. The victory was nothing new for Modesto Christian as they're now sitting on three straight.
Modesto Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Marcus Washington, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds. Jeremiah Bernard was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Modesto Christian's win bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Tokay, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-16.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Modesto Christian will take on Lodi at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lodi will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 189th, while Modesto Christian is ranked 40th). As for Tokay, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Tracy at 7:30 p.m. Tracy is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses.
