On Saturday Epping/Newmarket take on Inter-Lakes/Moultonborough Academy at 1:30 PM. Epping/Newmarket come in off of three low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the squad is obviously eager to reverse.
There's no need to mince words: Epping/Newmarket lost to Trinity last week, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 0-46. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Epping/Newmarket were outplayed the rest of the way.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 7-42, which was the final score in Inter-Lakes/Moultonborough Academy's tilt against Stevens.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous match, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
