The Weld Central Rebels lost against the Arvada Bulldogs back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Thursday. The  match between  the pair wasn't particularly close, with Weld Central falling  33-18.
 Despite the  defeat, Weld Central had strong showings from  Marcello Rossi, who rushed for 100 yards and  a touchdown, and  Zakk Miller, who picked up 128 receiving yards and  a touchdown.
 Arvada's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Trevor  Lucero led the charge by throwing for 251 yards and  a touchdown on only 17 passes, while also punching in two touchdowns on the ground.  Gabriel Munguia was another key contributor, rushing for 134 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry.
 Another reason for the win was Arvada's imposing  defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Leading the way was  Christian Lake and his three sacks.
 Weld Central has  traveled a rocky road recently, as they've  lost four of their last five contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Arvada, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.
 Weld Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Arvada also has no future games currently scheduled.
