Softball Recap: Bear Grass Charter Snags 12th Win in Last 13 Games

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Bear Grass Charter walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 12-1 margin over the North Duplin Rebels on Thursday. Considering the Bears have won 15 matches by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Bear Grass Charter has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for North Duplin, they moved to 14-4 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Bear Grass Charter has already played their next contest (against Roxboro Community), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. North Duplin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
