Rhodes will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against John Hay at 3:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps rankings project a close game.
After a big victory against John F. Kennedy two weeks ago, Rhodes came back down to earth. Rhodes have to be aching after a bruising 0-27 loss to Glenville last Friday. Rhodes' low-scoring loss was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the contest before.
Meanwhile, the match between John Hay and John Adams was not a total blowout, but with John Hay falling 27-46, it was darn close.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the win. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
