 Neala Bateson paced Southwest Guilford's offense, picking up 14 kills. Bateson got some help from  Isabelle Tran and her 26 assists.  Charlotte Bliven and  Sarah Read kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.
Southwest Guilford's defeat dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Southwestern Randolph, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-8 record  this season.
 Southwest Guilford has already played their next match,  a  3-0  victory against Ragsdale on the 16th. As for Southwestern Randolph, they will look to defend their home court  on Thursday against Northwood  at 6:30  p.m.
