After two games on the road, Roosevelt is heading back home. They will take on the Bishop Blanchet Bears at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Roosevelt has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Roosevelt scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They came out on top against Eastside Catholic by a score of 79-72. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
It was another big night for Jasmine Hall, who shot 5-for-9 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 38 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Curtis, who scored nine points along with eight steals and seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Bishop Blanchet was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 50-45 to West Seattle.
Roosevelt's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Bishop Blanchet, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 5-11.
Roosevelt strolled past Bishop Blanchet in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a score of 50-36. Will Roosevelt repeat their success, or does Bishop Blanchet have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
