After four games on the road, Castle View is heading back home. They will take on the Liberty Lancers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Saturday, Castle View strolled past Grand Junction with points to spare, taking the game 59-40.
Castle View got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Evan Mckean out in front who scored 17 points along with 3 steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Mckean has scored at least 25% of Castle View's points. Another player making a difference was Larenzo Dixon, who scored 17 points.
Meanwhile, winning is just a little bit easier when your three-point shooting is a whole 42% better than the opposition, a fact Liberty proved on Saturday. They secured a 67-63 W over Chatfield.
Liberty's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was London Praytor, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 10 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Praytor has scored at least 25% of Liberty's points. Evan Trinidad was another key contributor, scoring 23 points.
Their wins bumped Castle View to 3-1 and Grand Junction to 2-1.
Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as Castle View and Liberty are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Castle View hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having only averaged 58.7 points per game. However, it's not like Liberty struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 56.3 per game. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run up the score up higher Come back here after the game to get analysis of the match and other basketball content.
