Delavan dropped their record down to 7-8 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Tremont Turks by a score of 2-1. The Panthers were not able to make up for their loss to the Turks from their previous meeting back in April of 2023.
Lainey Klokkenga was huge no matter where she played even without the win. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.
