The Twelve Bridges Raging Rhinos will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Casa Roble Rams at 11:00 a.m. on November 24th. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Twelve Bridges walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Tigers 53-14 on the road. Given Twelve Bridges' advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 112th, while Los Banos is ranked 270th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Nathan Crawford was his usual excellent self, rushing for 164 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries, while also picking up 43 receiving yards. Crawford hasn't dropped below two rushing touchdowns for four straight games. Anthony Gallagher also deserves a shout-out for his three touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Casa Roble came tearing into Friday's matchup with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 40.4 points) and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by a 34-14 margin over Hilmar.
It was another big night for Connor Campbell, who threw for 234 yards and four touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 85 yards on only seven carries. Campbell has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last four times he's played. Cole Owens was another key contributor, picking up 113 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Their wins bumped Twelve Bridges to 12-0 and Los Banos to 10-2.
