The South Aiken Baptist Christian CRUSADERS scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 66-51 victory over Sandhills. With that win, South Aiken Baptist Christian brought their scoring average up to 50.3 points per game.
Leading South Aiken Baptist Christian to victory were Colman Smith and Hunter Dennis. Smith dropped a double-double on 19 points and 18 rebounds, while Dennis scored 21 points along with three steals. Smith is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Terlizzi, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
South Aiken Baptist Christian's victory bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Sandhills, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Aiken Baptist Christian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Jefferson Davis Academy at 6:30 p.m. on January 26th. As for Sandhills, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Ragin Prep Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. Ragin Prep Christian Academy will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
