The Skyline Prep Bengals's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss. They were beaten by Heritage Academy 55-18. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Skyline Prep has scored all season.
Bryce Canpbell continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Heritage Academy, scoring 22 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Canpbell has scored at least 25% of Heritage Academy's points. Braden Pickett was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Skyline Prep's defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-12. As for Heritage Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.
Skyline Prep will take on Tournament Opponent at TBD on Monday. As for Heritage Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Phoenix at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
