The Fernandina Beach Pirates waltzed into their contest  on Friday with two straight wins  but they left with three. They blew past Yulee 56-32. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  win Fernandina Beach has posted  against Yulee since January 14, 2019.
 Fernandina Beach got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Julianna Miller out in front who  scored 14 points along with six  assists and six  steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Miller has scored all season. Another player making a difference was  Savina Wells, who  scored 16 points along with eight  rebounds and three  steals.
 Yulee lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Brooke Reid, who  dropped  a double-double on 14 points and ten  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Rheyna Hilton, who  scored nine points along with eight  rebounds and three  blocks.
 Fernandina Beach pushed their record up to 8-7 with that  win, which was their third straight  at home. As for Yulee, they are  on a nine-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-14.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fernandina Beach will stay at home for another  game and welcome Westside at 6:00  p.m.  on January 22nd. Westside is coming into the  match on a three-game losing streak. As for Yulee, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Clay at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Clay is coming into the  contest on a four-game losing streak.
