Lake Ridge has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Cedar Hill Longhorns at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Ridge has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,377 points over their last 20 contests.
Lake Ridge pushed their score all the way to 57 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Waxahachie 63-57. Lake Ridge has struggled against Waxahachie recently, as their game on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Amir McMillian, who scored 19 points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ahmare Rose, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, Cedar Hill unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 73-64 to Mansfield Legacy. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Lake Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 26-6. As for Cedar Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-12.
Lake Ridge strolled past Cedar Hill when the teams last played back in January by a score of 80-66. Will Lake Ridge repeat their success, or does Cedar Hill have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
