 In other batting news, Raymond/South Bend let  Nolen Miller and  Auston Caricchio loose on the outfield. Miller  scored three  runs while going 3-for-3, while  Caricchio  scored three  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of  Branson Williams, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 North Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Raymond/South Bend, their victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 5-8.
 North Beach will look to defend their home field  on Friday against Lake Quinault at 3:30  p.m. Lake Quinault knows how to get  runs on the board -- the  squad has finished with flashy  run totals in its past five matches -- so hopefully North Beach likes a good challenge. Raymond/South Bend does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
