Gulf Breeze is 9-1 against the Patriots since December of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Gulf Breeze Dolphins will take on the Pace Patriots at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Gulf Breeze focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Friday.
Gulf Breeze had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Navarre by a score of 62-54.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Gulf Breeze to victory, but perhaps none more so than Trent Peak, who scored 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Roman Jackson, who scored 16 points.
Meanwhile, Pace's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were beaten by Spanish Fort 89-53. Pace was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-23.
Gulf Breeze's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-10. As for Pace, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-19 record this season.
Everything went Gulf Breeze's way against the Patriots in their previous matchup back in January as the Dolphins made off with a 51-25 win. Will Gulf Breeze repeat their success, or do the Patriots have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
