West Jones added to the longest winning streak in 5A Region 3 this week by beating South Jones, 56-14. The victory was the sixth in a row for the team.
Pearl River Central was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from seventh to fifth in the league. Earlier in the week, the Blue Devils triumphed over Wingfield 55-22.
Teviaunte McDaniel was a passing and rushing force as Brookhaven beat Natchez. McDaniel's favorite target this week was Javontae Trevillion, who caught 3 passes for 48 yards.
