After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four games, Berkley finally came back down to earth  on Friday. They fell just short of the Novi Wildcats by a score of  3-2. The Bears' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
 Berkley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Brooke Schall, who  went 1-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  run. Schall is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last six games she's  played.
Berkley's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7-1. As for Novi, their  win (their first of the  season) made their record 1-7.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Berkley will face off against Southfield Arts & Tech at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. The Bears' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 10.5  runs per game this season. As for Novi, they will challenge Plymouth Christian Academy at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday.
